Chaka Zulu = Ludacris Manager. Chaka Zulu Shoves T.I. = Beef Restarted
T.I. has been saying for months that sometimes he can be two people in one person’s body: A calm, cool, collected businessman who can mingle with Hollywood stars and fashion and music moguls at one minute, and then the kind of guy you’d see fighting outside a club.
Well, he wasn’t outside a club, but on Sunday afternoon (June 24) at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood, California, T.I. was involved in a brawl nonetheless. During a luncheon held by Kevin Liles of Warner Music Group (parent company of T.I.’s label, Atlantic Records), the MC got into a fight with Ludacris’ manager Chaka Zulu. According to witnesses, T.I. punched Zulu in the face and a small, brief melee ensued. (more…)

AllHipHop Interviews 9th Wonder; Talks About LL, R. Kelly, Omarion, more
In the year 2007, it’s safe to say that the South has risen again, but just north of the dirty dirty still lies the South’s best kept secret. Little did the world know that when 9th Wonder emerged on the scene four years ago, with a remix of Nas’ God’s Son album, he would spark a trend and change the Hip-Hop production game forever.

Young Buck Disses G-Unit At Impromptu Concert!
Young Buck Disses G-Unit At Impromptu Concert!
We just recieved word from one of our sources that Young Buck verbally went against his G-Unit counterparts at 107.9FM’s Birthday Bash in Atlanta today (June 16th).
Word is Buck took the stage after westcoast and former G-Unit artist The Game performed and did and impromptu set in front of over 20,000 people concluding his performance by yelling “fu*k G-Unit! Cashville Records is the new unit…” then afterwards had his group The Outlawz come out.
Hmmm…is the once unstoppable machine known as G-Unit malfunctioning? We all shall see! Curious to hear if Curtis will have anything to say about this.
What do you think…publicity stunt or not?
50 Cent Holding Out With Interscope; Album May Not Be Released
Music industry insiders were shocked a few weeks ago when Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson announced that the release of his third studio album Curtis would be pushed back three months. The official explanation for the delay was that it was a “necessary course of action … to ensure the album’s simultaneous worldwide release.”
But one of the insiders at Interscope Records exposed the real deal on what happened. According to the insider, record company execs want 50 Cent to re-record at least five new tracks for the album. The insider explains, “The public didn’t respond well to the first two singles [Amusement Park and Straight to the Bank] and people here got freaked out … [One top executive] wants to make sure that there’s at least one hit on the album. And he wasn’t convinced by what he heard.” (more…)
